Thank you for shopping at Aegir Games operated by Aegir Games AS. If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns. The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us.
Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
The words in which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
- Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Aegir Games AS, Ensjøveien 7a – 0655 Oslo, Norway.
- Service refers to the Website.
- Website refers to Aegir Games, accessible from www.aegirgames.com
- Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.
- Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.

From the 1st of July 2021, all orders made from our Web Shop are being fulfilled from outside of the EU, and will be subject to the new VAT laws – this means:
Import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order. You may check with your country’s customs office to determine if there will be additional costs.
Regulations and Restrictions: The buyer is responsible for obtaining information regarding their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions that may apply when purchasing our products. By placing an international order (shipping outside of Norway) the buyer is responsible for abiding by their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions. If the product is seized and destroyed by customs, we will NOT be responsible for the losses, product, or shipping refunds.
Your Order Cancellation Rights
You are entitled to cancel Your Order within 14 days without giving any reason for doing so. The deadline for canceling an Order is 14 days from the date on which You received the Goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered. In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by:

We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.
Conditions for Returns
In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:
- The Goods were purchased in the last 14 days
- The Goods are in the original packaging
- The Goods are not used or damaged
We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion. Only regular-priced Goods may be refunded. Unfortunately, Goods on sale cannot be refunded. This exclusion may not apply to You if it is not permitted by applicable law.
Returning Goods
You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. You should send the Goods to the following address: Aegir Games AS, Ensjøveien 7a – 0655 Oslo, Norway. We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.
Replacement of Parts
If you have missing/broken components that detract from the experience of playing the game, please e-mail Us at customerservice@aegirgames.com.
If your box is damaged in transit: Please contact the retailer from whom you made the purchase to replace the game or receive a partial refund. We don’t replace boxes.
Latin America, Russia, and Africa: Due to the high rate of unsuccessful replacement parts shipments to Latin America and Africa, we can no longer send parts to customers in those regions. We can, however, ship to forwarding addresses in the US or Europe.
To replace or not to replace: It’s important to us that you get the full and best version of your game, and we will respond to any requests for replacement parts. That said, we ask for your compassion and understanding if certain types of tokens are missing or broken. For example, 1 missing Mercenary Unit out of 20 isn’t going to impact the game, and it is quite expensive to send even a small token to international backers. On the other hand, you need exactly 8 Large Town tokens —if any of them are missing, definitely let us know right away so we can replace them at no cost to you.
An important note: if you’ve opened SOME of the bags/cellophane wraps and think you’re missing a component, please proceed to open ALL of the bags/cellophane wraps, as you’re probably not missing the thing you think you’re missing, the game is not pre-sorted.
